Nasal reconstruction, which is also called rhinoplasty, is one of the most common cosmetic procedures performed today. Rhinoplasty can reverse or minimize nasal defects by removing, rearranging or reshaping bone or cartilage. It also is sometimes used to correct noses that have become crooked, have bumps or are narrow or wide.
